Can you imagine who you will seat your best friend with?
The Seating Plan is a rather complicated subject in which there is a lot of work to do at each wedding, as well as always keeping it in mind throughout the entire preparation process. Where will the head table be? What will it look like? How will we seat everyone around the room?
Normally, the initial seating plan of the banquet hall is not final, on account of cancellations or changes (guests that were attending with a partner and arrive on their own), friends at a table different from their assigned number, or the plan for the children (whether they’ll be seated with their parents or at another table on their own).
I remember very fondly a guest at my own wedding, who over the previous months, was seated at up to four different tables. Finally, she was seated at a table where she would be the indisputable protagonist of making friends out of the rest of the guests.
It’s very important to think of each guest when sitting them and that the guests seated together get along well, so that everyone has a fantastic time. Even if no one knows each other, it’s important that after a few introductions everyone can feel at ease and enjoy themselves in conversation, shared sympathy of the bride and groom, all for the day to flow without a problem.
